sad really u think there was no muggings drugs or any other social problems when they are out there wondering i better stop a pigeon man training his birds because hes not insured

like i said i got a mate who is a copper, and hes quite often round my house when on shift, And he gets a call on his radio, and says hes on his way, but finishes his brew first :-) :-)

You need to be wide with the police these days as thats what they do with you

 

They stopped me the other night when I finished work for speeding so I said can you show me the tape so I can correct my mistake and they were not happy at all because they couldnt prove it as they were not the traffic cops. They then asked me what I done for a living told them am a taxi driver they said oh we shouldnt have a problem with you then I said what do u mean by that still waiting on an answer. He then done a pnc check on me and asked if I was wanted by the police or had any outstanding tickets I said not wanted as I have just been rejected to join but got a ticket am not paying. Why is that your not paying it I said the officer that gave me it was a wan ker and put the wrong details on it. ok son on your way thanks for being honest.

 

Best of it is I was doing about 60 in a 30 and had a front light out but they never had a clue and admited they stopped me because they where having a quiet night

the reason they stopped me i had a break light out the copper doesnt like me anyway as i dont like him. i phoned the insurance and asked if i could carry pigeons in the car they told me yes as long as you notify them when taking out the policy this post is true i know some people take the pee by putting posts up like this but this is not pee takeing. its true and fact. the  havnt got onthing better to do. they always seam to pick on the working man sort of speak. :-/ the police is one big joke my opinion only. this is the 4th time hes stoped me in a month, it seams to me harrasment and they no iv got all my documents in order. or is it im a pikey  ;D ;D

Think all this has got a bit stupid now, First of all any Police Officer can stop and check any vehicle at anytime under the Road Traffic Act 1988. Secondly if you are driving a vehicle with a defect, ie light out, expect to be stopped you are commiting an offence and yes the Police have, different roles, Road Traffic deal with traffic matters, CID deal with serious crime, Response Officers deal with 999 calls etc, see where I'm coming from!!! So by saying havn't they got anything better to do is a waste of breath, Many vehicles are on the road uninsured or been driven by band drivers, I pay my Insurance and have a valid driving licence, so why should these people be allowed to get away with it, stop checks by the Police helps take these kind of people and vehicles off the road and also detects criminals using vehicle to commit crime. Another view is if your pigeons got stolen, who would you report it to. If your car got pinched would you report it to, if your child went missing, who would you report it to, if you house got broke into, who would you report it to, Yes the Police. I bet if your valubles and person/s responsible were found in a vehicle that had been stop checked would people still have the attitude that we have seen on this thread, me thinks not. If you get stopped by the Police and give attitude their behaviour might reflect yours. I very much doubt if anyone would be prosecuted for carrying a dog or pigeons safely in a vehicle or any insurance company would void your insurance for these things. So people please get off your high horse and look at things from different viewpoints.

Pigeons are classed captive birds not livestock. As previously mentioned, don't the police have better things to do than harass an innocent pigeon fancier taking his birds training when there are all these illegal motorists on the road? Yes the police do a great job on the whole but they have more than their fare share of ar*eholes. I would put in an official complaint for what it is worth!!!

Didnt think they needed any reason to stop you i got pulled going to work 7.30 in the morning and breathalysed and there was no reason wasnt doing anything wrong

I went to feed my horses and one of my horses got stolen i phoned the police (as you do ) they told me that a vehicle with horsebox was stopped some 200 yards out side my house last night the discription of the horse they had in the horse box matched mine so they do there checks yeah what a joke the person said the horse was his and the police said theres no proof i couldnt do zilch,
