Colour Of Pigeons Belly Dark Not Pink

hi just wondering do the colour of the crops change due to how healthy they are or is there something wrong with my birds there dropping have been greenish in colour too .Any help would be greetfull

blue belly caused by protein if lighten with barley they be more pink and the desired colour , give pigeon tea for two weeks and garlic watch them swell out and blood circulation will improve to create that nice pink skin

I'm confused. Are you talking about the skin on its crop? Or the skin on its breastbone?

if you dont give them grit they will have green droppings mate and drop the protien content of there daily intake ,give them barley maize wheat rather than peas

i think you might have hit the nail on the head with the grit cos the kept knocking it over so put it in a heavier container im new to the sport but i have been feeding them bamfords allrounder
