as of the 21st of march, Rangers are to be called The Rangers Fc Group, I belive this to be there new name, and I also belive this name is the name of the new-co that will be formed shortly, as having this new name, only spells out one thing, liquidation is the order of the day, if it was not the case, why change your name.

Rangers owner Craig Whyte has filed legal documents protecting his hold over the club as the battle for control of Ibrox looms.

The debenture document registered with Companies House gives Mr Whyte's company Liberty Corporate Ltd a new fixed and floating charge over Rangers FC Group - the parent company that owns the football club.

Liberty Corporate sole shareholder is Liberty Capital Limited, which is owned by Mr Whyte and registered to the British Virgin Islands. His father, Thomas Whyte, is the sole director of Liberty Corporate.

The document is dated March 21, 2012, two days before a key court decision that saw administrators battle with Ticketus over the deal Mr Whyte struck to sell off 100,000 future season ticket sales at Ibrox for £25.3m.

The new charge means Mr Whyte holds key powers over the parent company in the battle for control of Rangers, which is likely to come to a head this week with administrators revealing their preferred bidders for the club.

Crucially, the new document signed by Mr Whyte covers Rangers FC Group’s main asset – its 85% shareholdings in playing club, Rangers FC plc.

Mr Whyte's status as fixed and floating charge holder would put him at the head of the queue to benefit from the proceeds of any sale of these shares. Unsecured creditors and any other shareholders in Rangers FC Group would only receive payment after Mr Whyte's company.

Mr Whyte's position is not guaranteed if Rangers FC Group went into liquidation in the next two years, because the new charge might then be struck down, although that would likely to be the subject of a lengthy and expensive legal battle. rangers have aplied for a euro licence and i think with the new name that makes them favouret to go into liquidation as they cant, using there original name.

as far as i here the ticutus deal is a none starter, as it is whyte that has been the major share holder there, and is part of a nother company called octupus, but a half a loaf is better than nothing and whyte could be getting something back, but IMO i also think paul murray could be A INVESTER IN ticutus as like the other murray could be, and they are desperate to get something back from it just a sad thing that the fans have been kept in the dark, as i belive they knew about this not saying 10 years but lets say just 4 they new for defenate and should they have done the ticutus deal them self this would have been payed or big in roads to it, the reason i say this is for 2 years that you and i know of rangers did not sign of all there accounts. so they sat on there hands and gave the media a load of clap trp to make the garden look rosey, and the fans where never to be told dont shoot me down just think about what they did and the in house fighting

did not help one bit

but that will make no differance if the tax man says, no cva "s he has already said this so this is only a way of sofften the blow to the rangers fans, what good would it do rangers to be in debt to the tune of 10 million, then the 7.5 for the work on the deck, then the vat and

the small tax money owed from season 10-11 not to mention the next one out for season 11-12. wich will be due on the 5th of april 2012.

hope you do get out of it but keeping your self afloat aint the answer if you get skelped with the big tax case your admin team have to be paid and there money must now be due now £600 per hour times 8 guys x 6 days a week and that has gone on since the 14th feb

the once mighty rangers have far too much debt even before the big tax case rules against them ;) the new owners will never want to be weighed down with millions of debt from the present insolvent company and as for ticketus having agreed a deal with the blue knights there is no way that one creditor can safeguard money owed to them at the expense of the other creditors, this is what the administrators are there for to ensure that there is a maximum and fair return for all the people and companies ( that includes us as tax payers) who will lose out when Rangers inevitably go DOWN ^_^ ^_^ ^_^

think u will find celtic changed there name did they not danny boy

think you will find they also paid the tax man :P :P :P :P

yes that is the best way to take out of, the situation, the damage is done and there is no getting away from it, starting a new co will soon have us all roaring on our team once more. but the standard of football will never return, both celtic and rangers will be a team of bringing on youth players, able to handle the EPL when the time come for them to be sold, and there will be no more holding on to any one worth money

from both sides, it will be money in the bank from now on
