I don't let my youngsters out too young, had a pair out on Monday for the first time, hatched 28th. Dec. The loft is inside the Siloh so they come out and usually spend time flying around inside up on the wall-plates, When I looked later one was missing no sign of it on my buildings and nothing yesterday so I thought that was my record gone, never losing one off the loft, Had the yearlings out today loft in the siloh also when I fed them in at i.30pm. I saw this wet bedraggled looking bird and yes it's my youngster, record restored, good effort considering it's very grey and windy with horizontal rain today
