alex wight Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 Hello Fife fed members, the following baskets are awaiting uplift at Johns farm, or otherwise be picked up the first race. I would strongly recommend uplifting them as a few of ours were on the damp side, and are needing dried out and hinges lubricated. Perth = 2Glenrothes-Leslie = 3Howe = 7Novar =9kennoway = 7leven = 6methilhaven = 10dunfermline = 2crossgates = 6valleyfield = 1oakley 1tayport 1 These are the names that are on the baskets. Myself and Jock Brockie went up this morning, and we removed them all and put them onto a flat bed trailer, which will be parked in a shed till they are the hands of the rightful owners. Whilst we were there, one of johns dogs got run over by a car from a nearby house. John had to leave there and then to take the dog to the vet, with a suspect broken leg, poor wee beggar. Hope for a speedy recovery.. Okay lads and lassies, its up to yourselves to repatriate your clubs baskets. Regards alex.

square_peg Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 not starting a slanging match or trying to blame anyone, all i am saying is the proper procedure is crates returned to clubs on the way home from the last race,,we in fife have let that slip a wee bit . dave..i think you know that i have done as much as most for my fed, and, would help anyone and have done so over the years. ian..i have only met you once..and i dont think you are in anyway able to comment on what or what i have not done to help my fed..one thing i do know is a few years ago when the amal was running i helped the aberdeen fed in a big way, also your controller used to phone me at 5am in the morning for a weather update.also when the highland fed motor broke down in fife it was me who was lying underneath it in the pissing rain. best o luck to all in 2012

I know you Fed officials are working hard to get you a better trailer and any help you can give would be nice ATB for 2012
