I've not been on much, I have lots to do at the moment like course work and trying to find a job, Then the computer broke, TWICE! :lol:

Any way the pigeons laid two eggs and one hatched yesterday, I didn't want them to breed but didn't notice the eggs so just left them as I didn't know how developed they may have been,

Do you only ring birds your racing or do you need to ring all of them? and is there a specific time you have to do it?

 

 

am hoping young Robert will come and visit us and try racing , he is very interested i know.

I am interested but I always thought you need some sort of special breed to race.

yes Rob , when around 5 days old .

Special breeds you have some of? I dont have much time right now, but if your ever in musselburgh I volunteer in the PDSA shop on wed/ fridays so you'll have at least met me if ive not came round soon.

 

Its 6 days old now. are the other birds to old to ring? where do I get rings?

 

 

GET RINGS ON THEM ALL./// :emoticon-0167-beer:

What is the need for ringing them? Just incase thay flyaway?
