Guest Cornish-Jon91 Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 After going to the Cornish Combine meeting this morning, and hearing that the Cornish flyers will be joining the Plymouth flyers and liberating together just wondering what your thoughts are on this? (if there is any Plymouth/Cornish members on here) Cheers, Jon.

greenlands Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Hi Jon, can I ask Is this to keep the costs down. Lindsay
Guest Cornish-Jon91 Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Hi LindsayYes it is to do with the cost as its no secret both organisations are strugling.. to me its common sence to pull together as we our Cornish birds have to fly over Plymouth to get home.. but some of our fanciers are complaining about joining them! For example last season the Cornish Combine race from Ramsgate, took up 160 pigeons, for a 400mile drive, Plymouth took 150 birds up to the same racepoint and liberated 15mins after the Cornish Combine, so to me common sence says pull together? right or wrong it my oppinion.Cheers, Jon.
greenlands Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 Hi Jon, we have gone down the same road with West Cumbria Fed,I fly in the Derwent Valley fed who fly basically the same race program.except for the first two or so races.Common sense I think it's called.
