no 47-48 I remember it was a tall man, yes went to Denbeath, Thornton and Kirkcaldy, my Father and Bob Imrie were the local Bookies, Bob stood at the tracks and they also took the horsey betting, which really was ilegal in those days but was allowed, they also had a fixed odds football coupon
