kraftykev Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 Happy new year to you all. This year i want to have professional photos taken of my top stock birds. The reason being they are getting on now and i would like to put the pictures in the BHW when i put my adverts in. Does anyone know of someone who can take really nice photos. I live in wisbech in Cambridgeshire so will be looking around that sort of area i know i will have to travel but dont want to go to far. thanks kev
victorious Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 you maybe better of learning to do your own ,build or buy a photo box 20/30 quid on e bay ,its costs 20 quid per bird over here for a proffesional photo and only one person or maybe two does it so in your case a lot of photos and the cost would add up probably be a good hobby for some young person to take up.
kraftykev Posted January 3, 2012 Author Report Posted January 3, 2012 thanks for that. I have just bought one on ebay so fingers crossed its not to hard to use lol cheers kev

johnnyksspeedshop Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Hello, I bought one of those ebay photoboxes because I enjoy taking pictures of my birds. I 've only got a chance to use it once. I am going to buy some more lights to brighten it up, and also find another material to use as the background because the felt type material that comes with it just soaks up the droppings. Here is the best shot from the first time using the box. If I had a computer fast enough to run photoshop then I could make it more professional looking by getting rid of the stains and brightening up the background. But here is a pic pretty much unedited:
Guest Hjaltland Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Excellent.. now all you need now is the iconic 'Anthony Bolton' signature
johnnyksspeedshop Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 Haha not quite, but the photobox does help spread the light nice and even!
