square_peg Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 read the convoyers report from the messac race ,and, if i have read it correctly,it looks like the doos can have a day less in the basket. I dont know if the transporter can do alencon,if it passes,in the same time, but i think a night less in the basket has to be a good thing for the doos. what do you think?
JohnQuinn Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 I agree with you on the time in the basket, some doos can look after themselves in the basket, others not so well. For the latter a night less would be a big benefit. jmo.
yeboah Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 At last years AGM the president asked for an extra day to be considered due to the timescale of making it for the initial crossing, once in france there was no problem just a bit tight making the ferry time, but got to agree day less has got to be best for the birds especially if there were high temp in uk and france, also think we should have taken almond valley offer of geraldy transporter .jmo

frank-123 Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 could go by channel tunnel and be there a lot quicker but guess it might cost a few quid but then again you could save on wages....etc which might offset some of the cost
