Seems to me on the face of it stupidity , as wild birds won't take any notice there not allowed to continue with flying during a period of time , what on earth are these people thinking of the sports in enough trouble without having this enforced on them

the Olympic sailing will be on off the coast of Weymouth there will be a lot of low flying aircraft in that area

surely it is in the best interests of the birds and human life we don't have any liberation around that area

Yes I agree it's in the best interests of the birds but birds would go around or above these obstacles , surely in the interests of the sailors healths no aircraft's flying would be a lot safer for them and birds would be able to fly ;) one rogue bird could hit an aircraft and knock out the aircraft and also take a sailing boat out at same time so if no aircrafts the bird no fly ban wouldn't be needed keeping racing on and the boats safe :)
