budgie Posted November 21, 2011 Author Report Posted November 21, 2011 if you felt your birds were getting more consistent lets say in club and fed racing but on the day for what ever reason did not put up a good performance on national day everyone has bad day or where the year dont go to plan how would you feel is it all about them few SNFC races for the year or would you look at the overall picture It happened to us this year in the Fed/Inland National at Eastboune where we had a bad result. The same team some 2 weeks later went on to SNFC Ypres race and we timed 14/15 within 55mins with 6 on the result.I put it down to coming of the round a bout system and i as i have always said in our loft they need at least 4 wks before their chosen race to come into form.
Tony C Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 The more times I finish in the top 1% of fed/amal/combine results the more consistent my season has been.
