DOVEScot Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 We have a scout hall hogmanay party as usual and it is a sell out, we hope to raise over £600 to keep the hall open and the kids happy :) Well that is the scout hall set up ready for tonight's big doo. 100 of us will be having a great time and raising money. It's my turn on the door and cleaning duties so I may be missing for a while and Chick has promised to stay sober :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted December 31, 2009 Report Posted December 31, 2009 We raise quite a bit for the scouts and ward 14(woman's ward) at our local hospital through our party nights and as some members from here will tell you it is a great night out, loads of fun and no trouble. The only trouble is getting enough nights and themes to keep everyone entertained and Chick sober when it is our turn to clean up ;) ;D Have to agree with you on that mate, the hogmanay that Liz and her sister and myself were up was a great night and was very hospitable of you and your family to put us up , we were hoping to have attended this one but family circumstances meant we could not make , but we will definately be back to one next year Duncan mate as long as the bed and breakfast is still on offer
