Birch if imaginable is / was far worst. This was for 'Drink Driving' If any one knows how to put this up for others - with stout hearts - to see, then P.m. with your addie and I will forward it. Has to be seen to be believed. Now a 100 lashes .... Takes the skin off and cuts deep.

bruno1 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Bit of history:- Birch is banned in every place in Britain except Isle of Man. Group of Glasgow teenagers fell foul of local law down there in 1960's and were birched for it. Made national TV and newspapers, usual banner headlines : way to go, that will teach them etc. Thugs interviewed afterwards said they'd no do it again. Well they did. So much for that lesson, to this day never heard any more shouts for bringing it back. I would also caution against trying to load this video on this Site. Doesn't sound suitable and not pigeon-related.
