I don't know your criteria but John Murdoch of Greenock on present form is difficult to beat.

Greenock is right on the coast.

Not by any stretch of the imagination could they be described as "west coast fliers". I would never decry their performances but they are 40 miles from the west coast

BEST PLAN OF ACTION IS GO ONTO SNFC WEB SITE AND GO THROUGH ALL THE OLD RESULTS AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF :scotland:

j murdoch is yet to fly in the big national, graham white from bumbarton morris brothers johnstone d mckinlay largs are all good fliers on the west coast but the rankins and hannahs would have to be the best even if they are not right on the coast with t richardson comming along nicley ,and im talking about distance races the next few years will see new younger guys come along

lets not drift from the original question,or just briefly a mcinness blantyre most probably the most under staded allround fancier lanarkshire has turned out since the late great w wilson

The club or federation you fly in does not matter.

The words "west Coast" were used on the initial post.

Lanarkshire is closer to the east coast.
