Wonder what his opinion would be if we asked him to cull his beloved Peregrines or Sparrowhawks? He,s another of the BOP brigade, bet there will be a lot of footage of them on Autumn watch and lot of crap about how rare they are.

For the benefit of the RSPB would it not be a lot better for them if the peregrine, sparrow hawk etc where kept as rare species? At the end of the day what is going to be the big attraction when they are ten a penny? Nothing exciting about seeing a wood pigeon sparrow or any other normal bird.
