Guest yorkshire terrier 77 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 let my latebred young birds out this morning and one of them did not return this was unusual as this was one of the first i got and was totaly settled and my favourite pigeon. i was gifted this bird from excellent stock and i am gutted . it seems ok in itself but has blood on its wing and both sides under the wings . but it is flew into the loft perfectly?? has eaten and drank.i dont know what to do realy? looks like the pellet passed strait threw it to me. i could be wrong but have very good experience with air rifles and it looks like thats whats done it. :( :( and another thing was when i put it in a bascket on its own it was going mad but when i let it in the loft he when strait to his perch and still had it in him to let the others know it was his perch . that did make me smile i must admit. has a bright green ring on and its not like you cnt see it. looking threw a scope you could not miss it. its hard enough as it is trying to keep hold of them and getting a start without some one shooting them.!!!!!
Guest yorkshire terrier 77 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 forgot to add it has only just returned about half an hour ago.
