pigeon hut Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 iam a new starter who as a couple of young pigeons (same nest) who i trained to stay at my hut,they flew around the hut for weeks no problem of getting them back in.then in the last couple of weeks they take off for 24 hrs do not know were they go.but come back the next day and do the same thing when let out again.as any one else experienced the same thing and do you keep them in all the time now in case they do not come back one day.

Maybe you could try keeping them in for a week or so and let them out hungry again?have tryed keeping them in for two weeks and letting them out hungry but it still as not worked.thats why its got me beat they go out hungry and still go for a day.then come back even more hungry as they do not stop eating at 1oz more like 2 or more.
pigeon hut Posted August 21, 2011 Author Report Posted August 21, 2011 try not letting them out togetherhave tryed letting one out but it still disappears for a day.then when i get it in i let the other out and it does the same.i have even let my others out at the same time to try keeping them about.but they just disappear for a day pulling out whats left of my hair trying to work out wot to do now.
