Growth Budget

When this conservative government chancellor presented his 2011 budget, it was emphasised it was a Budget of Growth’.

Events since then have certainly ensured that and he has kept his word!

It has been growth in profits for the riches who back this government - £Billionaire average a 1/3 increase of money I.e. £333 million!

Growth in bonuses paid to Bankers.

Growth for inadequate ‘Privatise’ companies actually doing a ¼ of the promises to get Council work – laying of thousands of workers. These chairmen are now on 6 –7 £Million basic pay plus bonuses.

Of course a many less can’t do vast amounts more.

A growth of unemployment. Of Hospitals waiting lists and the number of ordinary working parents – lucky enough to have a job - of sorts, who, along with the poorest in society and single parents, who now find themselves unable to assist the children to obtain a university education – keep the masses ignorant, and sale the places to the rich and overseas pupils.

It was also a budget for growth in the poverty and deprivation of pensioners, and owing to the policy the growth in numbers living in added fuel poverty, and we must not forget the likely growth in the likely early deaths amongst the elderly from malnutrition and cold related illnesses.

Yes Osborne has certainly attained growth…

The hospitals in this area have cancel Hip and knee replacements and much more, in deed a growth of many more now obsolete operations once a norm under a socialist government, so a growth of pain and heartache there too.

The Doctors surgery has now had to fold many parts of the practises ‘Help’ etc. etc. Like the growth of lawlessness and the growth of criminals

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

good post Roland very true , I believe everyone in society is as important as the next person , I believe the dustman is just as important the the prime minister and should be paid the same ( I'm a socialist idealist ) , If bin man went on strike prime minister wouldn't be able to get to work . The economy is all wrong all the money is earned by the sweat of the working class , there employers get 99% of it employers should be looking at improving the pay they give there staff in profit shares or in cash , banks have huge profits due to these workers and only a few benefit from these profits these profits should filter down to the account holders , without these the banks wouldn't have a business or profits . Likes of Tescos 1 in every £3 is spent here same again all money running to top for a few to benefit , a fair distribution of wealth in this country ???? not a chance the poor will be worked until they drop dead hopefully before they can get a penny of state benefit they've worked long and hard for .

yes it was a good post but the goverment cant keep spending money it has not got someone had to stand up and be counted. The USA has had a rude awakening as have the rest of the world Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal even Germany is twiching. There to many people who cant wait to put the boot in. I dont know anybody who has not got a fridge or colour tv and how many countries give you a mobility car, if we all shopped at least one person we know on the fiddle the hip operations might start again. I feel bitter and twisted because i personaly am suffering finacialy i cant find any work and its doing my head in.

SORRY for the rant but to many scroungers and not enough workers

Unfortunately there is true in what you say homestead, but in order that the deserving cases get their' dues, many charlatans will manipulate and get unjust returns... But I'd rather some slip through the net than deserving cases get nothing and no help.

Just a weeks bombing would put the police force back in touch. Two weeks bombing would mean hep and knee replacement would resume etc.

A Months bombing.... need one go on. Plus sadly it is a very small %tage that benefit, namely the 0.06% of the wealthiest.

Harder to stomach is the fact that A. it was the wealthy, and Banks that caused the misfortunate mess and not labour, whom many are too readily wanting to lay the blame at their feet. even the Chameleon agreed with the way forward, and most followed. It was working too, and there wasn't a need to start paying instalments for another 4 years, and the 4 years were interest free.

But again the reality is that the national has not a jot to do with the 'Cut Backs' at all. Just the usual regime, the policies of the Tories of high unemployment etc. etc. in making it easy for their' bed mates to line their own nests.

Like the British rail eh! It costs us, and always has, more to keep them afloat than ever it did when a Nationalised concern, and jet every year the Boards take £millions in pay and bonuses!!!! Time they were made to make it pay before taking out I think.
