Stafford Area (Warning)

The Pennine Valleys Federation is holding a substitute race from Stone Flats, STAFFORD (Tuesday 26th July) as a replacement for the one lost to weather conditions just over a week ago.

It is hoped to liberate approximately 1,500 birds at 8am or as soon after subject to satisfactory conditions.

Fanciers and/or trainers in and around Stafford and on the likely line of flight to Huddersfield, Halifax, Keighley and Skipton are advised to be careful when excercising or training their pigeons. The race should take between one hour twenty minutes and one hour forty.

The liberation time will be confirmed on pigeon-chat tomorrow morning.
