Help From Pigeon Person

Pigeon ( i think ) flew into window daughter brought it in but it seems extreamly friendly and not scared of much but tried to release it and it wont fly it pure grey with no markings it wont eat and not seen drinking daughter wont leave out incase cats get it and it living in sitting room dont know if injured or if young and cant fly doesnt make any noises nothing just has little walk about then wants back in its box what do i do with it sugestions please x thankyou it doesnt have any rings so think it wild it the friendliness that is puzzling lol

If its a wild pigeon call the RSPB thats what they get lots of funding for im sure they can help

the best thing you can do if you do not where the nest is that he came from is to get him to a wild bird sanctury or contact your local vet for advise.it sounds like he has just left the nest.returning him to his natural environment would be ideal as the parent birds will"track"him for a while to feed him etc.but as you say predators are a problem.sorry we could,nt help more.
