Guest Irene Posted June 26, 2011 Report Posted June 26, 2011 Hi I saw a pigeon being attacked by a magpie a few days ago. We chased the magpie off and put the pigeon in deep grass with some seeds and water. The following day I found feathers on my lawn; I think the poor pigeon had been got at by a cat or fox. There was a ring on my lawn with the number GB10 N 92441. Not sure who to inform. I live in Loughborough by the way.
REDCHEQHEN Posted June 26, 2011 Report Posted June 26, 2011 If you send an email to the RPRA giving the details (pigeon ring number your address and telephone number and that you are a non-fancier - and that the pigeon has been found dead ) they will inform the owner the e-mail address is strays@rpra.org thank you for taking the time to help the bird
