Guest Owen Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 We are having big problems with a couple of Peregrines. Like a lot of people, my youngsters are just learning to fly but the Peregrine has scared the guts out of them. I keep a couple of rockets ready every time I let them out but I wish other Fanciers would do the same. Imagine what would happen if everybody sent rockets up when they were at it. I bet they would soon become suspicious of pigeons. Unfortunately, most Fanciers are just moaners and will talk the talk but will not put themsevles out at all. Out of around 25 lofts there are only two of us using the rockets but believe me the Peregrines hate them. They seem to fall from the sky and then recover but the important thing is that they stop attacking the pigeons and leave the area. I reckon that the lazy gits who continue to feed the damn things are causing problems because the Peregrines are still trying their luck because they love nice fat youngsters. Besides they are easy to catch especially when there are no interruptions from those lovely kind Fanciers who do nothing about it.
gordi.b Posted June 4, 2011 Author Report Posted June 4, 2011 tried rockets at my last house and it did work , gonna have to buy some more i think, cheers
