Guest jean roberts Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 I have been trying in vain to catch this bird. She? has been around for a week nowand all the local birds don't mind her at all.She now seems to have a friend who comeswith her when i put corn down .I did try initially to not feed her but ended up feeling so sorryfor her.I am unable to find my original post which had a few of her ring numbers on.My plan was to try to read all the numbers and leave a post on here.My neighbour said shes been gone too long now and an owner would no longer want her??Can someone advise me on this please. She holds her own with all the crows too,a plucky little thing but i cant go on feeding her.She obviously is having a holiday romance here on the Isle of Wight Thanks for any info Jean
billt Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Hi Jean, Thanks for your concern and feeding of the lost bird, Without a full ring No. we can't trace the owner, but being on the I.O.W. I don't think it will be in a hurry to leave, I'm from Southampton originally
