Thank you for your advice. Who would I contact?? Am happy to look after until owner contacts me. Do I need to do anything else besides give water and bird seed??

UPDATE:

Have managed to find a pigeon fancier/racer in my area and have taken the bird to him as obviously he can look after her (found it was a hen!) better than I can. He said she had been racing as she still had the racing ring number still on. He has said he will try to contact the owner and believes the owner is from the Midlands association, just as he is a member of that. He is happy to look after her and feed her. She is a lovely coloured bird.

 

So, alls well that ends well. I just hope the owner contacts and gets her back.

The chap who has her now is Barry Spencer and his number is 01663 747945.
