kestrels tend to eat mice , so no shortage there , but bigger bops would eat them :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

The sides of the motorways are lined with buzzards that also eat mice and voles.Theres only so much mice and voles to go around.I wish it was they futtin peregrines and sparrow hawks that had the %58 decrease.

the main reason I put this up is the cheek of these baskets to

expect the government [us] to fund it.when they steal enough money

from there own members they could cover the costs.

Totally agree the baskets should be jailed for all the false information that is fed to the general public that know little of whats going on in the country. The RSPB are futtin raptor in the brain.

How they can call themselfs Royal society for the PROTECTION OF BIRDS is beyond me when all they want to do is release Raptors all over the country that do nothing except KILL other Species.

kestrels are no bother to pigeon keepers....if anything they are a help as they don't like sparrow hawks as they are a threat to its own young. i once saw a kestral mobbing a sparrowhawk that had killed a magpie (trying to steal its kill).we shouldn't target all raptors for critisicm if we want our concerns on sparra and percy heard JMO
