yeboah Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Wouldn't even send the wife to sedburgh we half our convoy every time we went there even worse last year i swear if i live to be 100 will never send another doo to sedburgh ,controllers report two years ago stated (young birds )were targeted on liberation by peregrine falcons convoyer stated he had never seen them go so high convoy split in two ,one batch never made it ,they never get a chance to clear from sedburgh ,fantastic race point if we did not have a falcon problem but as it is lambs to the slaughter

Wouldn't even send the wife to sedburgh we half our convoy every time we went there even worse last year i swear if i live to be 100 will never send another doo to sedburgh ,controllers report two years ago stated (young birds )were targeted on liberation by peregrine falcons convoyer stated he had never seen them go so high convoy split in two ,one batch never made it ,they never get a chance to clear from sedburgh ,fantastic race point if we did not have a falcon problem but as it is lambs to the slaughter if you would not send the wife to sedburgh i won,t be sending more than 2 or 3 yb,s, will also pass on to club delegate to pass on at next meting the view i have got regarding this race point. THANKS
yeboah Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Your welcome only pointing out the truth and trying to save yb's we found our worst races were sedburgh and leyland with yb's once we got clear of that area down to lymm had much much better racing and returns ,our management committee had proposed this year we race appleby or shap which is at the top of the hill then jump them straight to lymm but this lost the vote to another proposal to race the a1 route with both old and young good luck with your season
