would you say its harder now to race and win than ever?

 

as years ago it seems everyone and there grannie flew pigeons so more competition but not uv got bop etc

i would say years ago it was more of a true race now sometimes a batch can get through and if your lucky to get one in the batch you can beat guys quite easily

where as years ago if you seen a batch of birds and you never got one you were beaten but you would get a timer not so far behind the winners

i would say it is harder to race now

only raced since 2005 so i don't know ....but when you're winning it seems easy...when you're not you feel you'll never win again

racing is not just about preparing your birds the best nowadays

 

there is to many bop probs now which tootaly disrupt racing as we knew it , yes it is harder in that respect but also there are a lot of top fanciers who have died of or gone out the game in the last 10 to 20 years and theres not really any come in to replace them

so i would say there is not the same amount of top fanciers about now

in a lot of clubs etc so in that respect the competition is lessened

I reckon it is like that in any sport. I would be willing to bet that the Welsh Rugby Team are feeling that they may never win another game. I hope the English Rugby Team do not get too used to winning because if they do we will never hear the last of it.

YES BUT THEY STILL COMPETE AGAINST A FULL TEAM OWEN GOOD OR BAD BUT SOME FEDS HAVE GONE FROM 4OOO BIRDS DOWN TO 800 MAX NOW AND GUYS WINNING NOW THAT WOULD NOT HAVE COUNTED 10 YEARS AGO AS THERE FLYING AGAINST THE B TEAM IN SOME PLACES
