Guest ENDFLIGHT Posted August 30, 2011 Report Posted August 30, 2011 MY FATHER A B KING OF WISHAW LANARKSHIRE BOUGHT HIS DORDINS DIRECT FROM PIERE AT VILLA PATIENCE,THE FIRST ONES BEING IN 1966.THE LAST DORDIN I BOUGHT WAS VERY RECENTLY,IT IS FROM DEREK LAWTON LINES.PREVIOUSLY TO THAT A FEW YEARS BACK I PURCHASED A YOUNG DORDIN HEN FROM KEN MURRAY CORK THE PRICE AT THE TIME WAS £75.THE BIRD WAS KINDLY BROUGHT TO ME AT BLACKPOOL BY A MR. MICK CRAEN(SPELLING?).WHEN I COLLECTED THE BIRD,TO MY SURPRISE THERE WERE TWO HENS,SO I THOUGHT I HAD TO TAKE MY PICK,AND RETURN THE OTHER TO MR MURRAY via MR CRAEN,HE TOLD ME NO!THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO DELIVER TO YOU AT BLACKPOOL.ON PHONING MR MURRAY,HE SAID TO ME NO MR KING ,YOU KEEP THE TWO!!AND I HOPE YOU ARE PLEASED WITH THEM.SO THERE YOU HAVE IT PEOPLE,A BIT LONG WINDED,BUT THAT WAS MY EXPERIENCE IN BUYING FROM MR KEN MURRAY (A GENTLEMAN),AND THANK YOU SIR
