have you not tried ken murray from cork 1 of the murray bros who are personal friends of mine?

i do know that they were personal friends of jim biss and were in pierre dordins lofts back in the 70s hence when they became good friends with biss they bought a lot from jim and all the top dordin fanciers of the time

i was only visiting him in march this year and took this photo of there lofts as you know there are 3 brothers ashley died a couple of years back and i think that they dont race or sell anymore give him a ring he,s a nice guy to talk to and very helpful

no disrespect to you sir but it seems that you are of the mind set that quantity is better than quality ... when you purchase quality then you will breed quality then you may fill your lofts with unc winners

there is an old saying in all walks of life you get what you pay for

i suppose it is the sign of the times

no quite the opposite i can house no more than 18 race pairs so only can carry quality , £1,000 for one pigeon only a fool would part with that kind of money unless it was already a proven winner and breeder of winners , to obtain a young bird from a UNC winner would only cost me around £100 - £150 seems the Murray birds are worth ten times that .................... not in a million years :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed: :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

MY FATHER A B KING OF WISHAW LANARKSHIRE BOUGHT HIS DORDINS DIRECT FROM PIERE AT VILLA PATIENCE,THE FIRST ONES BEING IN 1966.THE LAST DORDIN I BOUGHT WAS VERY RECENTLY,IT IS FROM DEREK LAWTON LINES.PREVIOUSLY TO THAT A FEW YEARS BACK I PURCHASED A YOUNG DORDIN HEN FROM KEN MURRAY CORK THE PRICE AT THE TIME WAS £75.THE BIRD WAS KINDLY BROUGHT TO ME AT BLACKPOOL BY A MR. MICK CRAEN(SPELLING?).WHEN I COLLECTED THE BIRD,TO MY SURPRISE THERE WERE TWO HENS,SO I THOUGHT I HAD TO TAKE MY PICK,AND RETURN THE OTHER TO MR MURRAY via MR CRAEN,HE TOLD ME NO!THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO DELIVER TO YOU AT BLACKPOOL.ON PHONING MR MURRAY,HE SAID TO ME NO MR KING ,YOU KEEP THE TWO!!AND I HOPE YOU ARE PLEASED WITH THEM.SO THERE YOU HAVE IT PEOPLE,A BIT LONG WINDED,BUT THAT WAS MY EXPERIENCE IN BUYING FROM MR KEN MURRAY (A GENTLEMAN),AND THANK YOU SIR ^_^
