this is only my opinion if you don,t try broken old birds or yearlings in the 1st year of birds broken to new loft.you then breed of them this year then you breed of them next year to find out when racing some of them are no good.

 

best of luck in your 1st racing season . with a few hard decisions to make best of luck. YOU NEVER KNOW TILL YOU TRY

Whats your thoughts on sending a yearling over the channel

 

You've got to believe that your bird can do it, even though isn't a yearling. I sent my late bred to Lessay to our Old Bird Race year 2009 and came back on the same day, took 15th place. Last year, I sent another late bred to Carentan, Merseyside YB Race. I Sent 1, Got 1. 100% Returned. All you need is a good pigeon. Good Luck. :)
