Guest homestead Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Today I bought 25kg barley, 25kg wheat, 25kg field beans and 25kg of turkey pellets for £22-50 from Bells corn supplies behind Toft Hall at Knutsford so I can mix my own. He also sells other mixes he blends himself on the farm and his prices are spot on.

ALF Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 I CAN GET THAT FEEDING FOR THE SAME PRICE UP HERE BUT THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THE LAYER PELLETS ARE IN 20KG BAGS NOT 25 SO I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THE FEEDING DOWN SOUTH WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPER AS WE ALWAYS SEEM TO GET SHAFTED IN SCOTLAND RE THE PRICE OF FEEDING
OLDYELLOW Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 just not polished and a fancy paper bag , it's all grown in mud in the fields , it's how it's harvested and stored / dried afterwards that counts , enjoy i'm certain your birds wont notice it's not in a branded bag
