Roland Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 Personally the 'Sellers' they can do what they heck they like. Some are great, genuine persons offering agood deals. And time will out, to show just who they are. As for the costs, great, now I know that some shady sherberts are having to donate a little for the use of this site, then bring it on. Yes only appear when flogging sommat. Fine, at least the site is gain a little, and so it should! I for one now will smirkly be appeased when they pop in and flog their culls. Of course no flipping way will I buy a jargon of tripe they spll. Would I ever be tempted to throw my hard earnt at them? :-/ Would I heckers like, might look like a cabbage, but aint that green. 8) 8)
Guest lenwadebob Posted December 24, 2009 Report Posted December 24, 2009 meself peronally as one who has supported this site in the past and will again in the future,i cant see what all the fuss is about . if you want to sell birds on here at the price the site states then do so, as its a very cheap way to do so or you could pay ten fold the ammount in the weeklies. but if you want to buy top bloodlines at the right price then be gratefull you got this site to buy from. you dont have to sell on here or buy the choice is yours. feel free to go elsewhere. JMO Top post Jimmy, If those who want ALL for F all ain't happy then go else where. The site will be better off without you.
tjloft Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 I do think sellers should state at the outset the reason behind the sale and whether the birds are recent purchases or they have had them for some time(with what result). I personally dont care if they are a recent purchase and the seller is selling some YBs to offset purchase costs. What amuses me is when sale details are vague and someone questions the seller - invariably this kicks off a rumpus when his mates step in to defend his honour ;D ;D ;D

mark Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 25 pound isnt much if you sell a few birds over the year,i havent paid yet but will in the new year,it helps the forum so a good idea.i think its a small price to pay for advertising your surplus birds. £25 might not sound much but that all depends how many birds you are selling.
smiler Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 id like to take the time to thank all concerned in running pigeon basics for the time and effort they put in and think that £25 a year is great value to advertise on line, i must have being one of the last to sell birds on pigeon basics before the £25 come into play . i now the £25 was coming in and still made a donation toward the running of this great site and I'm thankful that we have this site . the help i have received from some of the monitors helping me with my post and pic was great i for one will gladly pay £25 to support the running costs of this site
