frank-123 Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Remember this christmas; when you're eating your dinner, smiling and laughing that in another house there is a empty chair where a hero should be sitting. They gave up their life so that you can sit with your family. So light a candle for the heroes that did not make it home .... For those who are still serving out in ..... Afghanistan!

WELL SAID FRANK Operations in Afghanistan: British FatalitiesIt is with very deep regret that the Ministry of Defence has confirmed the following fatalities suffered during operations in Afghanistan. As at 17 November 2010, a total of 345 British forces personnel or MOD civilians have died while serving in Afghanistan since the start of operations in October 2001. Of these, 304 were killed as a result of hostile action. 41 are known to have died either as a result of illness, non-combat injuries or accidents, or have not yet officially been assigned a cause of death pending the outcome of an investigation. The balance of these figures may change as inquests are concluded. A more detailed breakdown of fatalities and casualties can be found here GOD BLESS THEM ALL
