DOING A MATE A FAVOUR. RIGHT LEG LEFT LEG QUITE PAINFUL SO BE CAREFUL UNLIKE SILLY ME THESE PICS WERE TAKEN FEW DAYS AFTER THE SURGERY (SURGEONS HAD TIDED THEM UP) SO LOOKS BETTER THAN IT DID DAY AFTER I DID IT

DOVEScot Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 I was putting a strip foundation in for the extension and the joiner jumped in to give me a hand to float the concrete round the strips, the very same happened to him as he only had normal boots on, some people take really bad reactions to the lime Good thing was he pulled the nurse that done his dressings ;D ;D ;D
Guest strapper Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 this has never happened to me and ive been in the building trade for over 25yrs...in my capacity as a stonemason/brickie ive kneeled down in concrete on many hundreds of occasions....wot uve had is allergic reaction to the cement. looks very painfull m8.

Same here never get any trouble, but some get really bad reactions to it
steve Posted October 2, 2008 Author Report Posted October 2, 2008 yer its the lime that eats away at you i have kneeled in it before with no problems (layed 10 squares) this was only 3 squares but it got me this time and i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy

I've never had that before when I got it on my skin, I just got very dry, Hope your leg clears up soon.
