retired Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 Read on Sky sports that Portsmouth looking like being liquidated. Biggest casualty so far due to football and business bad management in the UK. Can only think of one bigger casualty over all the top European leagues and that was Fiorentina albeit they now seem to have come back stronger. Just laughed also Robert Pires for Crawley - Another Steve Evans publicity stunt - The same one that tried to sign Stan Collymore and David Ginola for us - Mind did get us Gazza and Julian Joachim.
OLDYELLOW Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 could always get rodney to lend them a few quid lol
retired Posted October 22, 2010 Author Report Posted October 22, 2010 could always get rodney to lend them a few quid lol   Mark these poor footballers cannot afford anything, not with this 50% tax they have to pay. I mean who realistically can be expected to survive on £75k a week

JohnQuinn Posted October 22, 2010 Report Posted October 22, 2010 Do you's seriously think Fergie would have done press conferences about a squad player wanting to leave? imo that boy is the Best in Britain, bar none!

Guest spin cycle Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 pomeys problem seems to be an ex owner not liking the terms offered...but he'll get less (i'dve thought) if they were liqudated so he'll probably come round. if the do go maybe it'll be a 'wake up call'.....no one made a sound over poor old chester last year

alex young Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Very sad news for Pompey fans and the people employed by the club, some of these people have worked there for years and its a big part of their lives that may well disappear, lets hope a solution can be found.
