There's time yet, though might be shut out by nightfall. Had 2 'biting fingernails' episodes this year, both early on, first was a hen definite strike (a near miss) in my garden, she came back after 4 hours; second was a cock, and he was away for around 12 hours - if my memory is right.

I got 2 good youngsters from a basics member had them out twice ok they had a fly around the second time, so next day let them out and never seen them to this day,i always expect to see them sitting on the loft, i think they may have got in with other birds and being hungry went down with them, i kept them hungry so as to get them in easy being strangers, but sometimes not a good thing with youngsters,

Well it's black, he didn't mention he shoved er up there to catch the bird. The birds feet he caught were 'ers. :D

Brilliant result (1)bird's back. (2) hole in wall looks better than wallpaper on it. :) Think there's another erdecoration job coming up. :D

well if was a starling i'd of been spitting feathers just kind of knew it was her back there she seemed to scrat everytime i stopped talking lol , biggest supprise was her jumping around loft when put her back in , thought first thing would of been food , but no was jumping from box to trap trying to get close to me , pigeons never stop amazing me on how robust they are
