well after 2 years waiting to move at last ive got permission for a 16 buy 6 loft (just waiting for ellis to get back to me) i will be putting a avary on in a while but this gives no room for stock so i am thinking of having 6 large rabbit hutches made with metal trays to help cleaning will stock be ok in a rabbit hutch

If the front of your loft is half timber half dowel/plastic, why not put a 3 foot landing board along the front and build below it with a wooden floor and sides and a wire front and make this into a 16' long x 3' wide x 3' high stock loft at least it will be low enough not to be a nuisance to neighbours. Just a thought

Can you not do it on the back then and make the top half your aviary. Just another idea.
