demolition man Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 ive got a slopping floor it deters them from pairing up so do you race them the same as the cocks? are they fed different do you show them .cocks etc Regards
OLDYELLOW Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 no big secret but i paired the hens to me to get them to not pair together , also dont over feed them as they'll start to look at each other , and i fly them to v perches never had any pair up yet other method is to put balls on floor only time balls are out is when feeding and watering cleaning
novo10 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 so do you race them the same as the cocks? are they fed different do you show them .cocks etc Regardstreated and fed same as cocks never shown before race unless hen shows she wants in cocks loft hens in different loft from cocks and both trap into same loft on saturdays when cocks training hens are allowed after exercise to trap into cocks loft then taken away
and Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 treated and fed same as cocks never shown before race unless hen shows she wants in cocks loft hens in different loft from cocks and both trap into same loft on saturdays when cocks training hens are allowed after exercise to trap into cocks loft then taken awayWe do it very similar except we feed hens differently to the cocks ie one big meal a day after excersise they only go out once per day in the morning in our case, the cocks go out in the evening again once a day but they have food in front of them all the time in pots in the boxes.
and Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 we dont i know of people who do but i dont see that the results are much different
