Guest bigda Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 why dowling mate as that ill cost yeh about £120 quid out of b@q go to a wood yard and get then to split 2"x1" up the middle then hand sand it the edges for about £8

chickadee Posted September 13, 2009 Report Posted September 13, 2009 does anybody no were ill get some wood dowling from I need about 96 lenghs at 1.6 ,calnt find any ,any were It normally comes in 8ft or 2.4m lengths so you will have a lot or wastage, get dressed redwood in 4.8m lengths and get it split into 1.6m, a lot stronger and cheaper than dowel
