ryesway Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 been reading a few articles on keeping stock birds in rabbit hutches also racing to them , just wanted to no your veiws or does any one on here do the same .cheers rye
pearse1888 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 i have these they are not rabbit hutches but are more or less the same thing ... i wouldnt keep them in them to long but for breeding is perfect i have heard people have flew well to boxes like these !!
pjc Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 personaly i wouldn't keep stock in hutches, I think they are better of in a loft with an aviary. How many time do we read about escaped stock, more likely to escape from a hutch! Don't think any problem racing to hutches as the birds are out to excercise and in to rest.
REDROCKET Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 dont like the ide at all stock should be in a loft with an avary and the racers should be in a loft with a bit of room in it in my opinion if the weathers not good your birds could be in the hutch for days at a time (my thoughts)
Guest triballofts Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 hi not a good idea imho if your stock are prisoners as they will get wing stiff but if you can fly them free would be better if you had them out everyday :o
