I have here a hen bred by Hatty Roest, she is a NL rung 2005 pigeon and is an actual g/dtr of "Olympic Ronaldo". I paid £230 for this hen last year from the partnership of Fenwick & Howard. She is a Verkerk bred from 2 direct G & S Verkerks, and was one of their top breeding hens.

 

I have only taken 2 YBs from this hen and they are crackers. The reason i am auctioning this hen is i am unsure about her fertility. Her first 2 eggs were clear, she then re-paired to another cock and they were also clear but Her next round were fine and both came off.

 

This hen was not quite i had expected (breeding wise), therefore was not put into the main stock loft, and i never expected to really breed from her. It could well be that the cock was getting knocked off as there was no flight or boxes in this shed.

 

I will get her to UK, but buyer is to pay carriage from there.

 

If she sells the purchaser is to send the cheque direct to Ian McKay made out to Pigeon Basics charity Fund.

 

This will be forwarded to Friends of Clan, a cancer charity that Marlene helps out with. Also please note there is NO GUARANTEE she will produce and will be NO REFUND. SALE ADMINISTERED BY IAN McKAY
