Guest IB Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 I'm sure I saw an advert somewhere a while ago for a chimney that came with its own double roman roof tile. Thought it might have been Petron, but don't see it on their website or Boddy & Ridewood's. Anybody know who does this product?

John k Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 http://www.everythingforpets.com/ventilation_chimney.pet/use.id.5.item_id.1260.dept.184/ Any good?....
Tony C Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 The reason double roman tiles are used is because they naturally allow the air to escape (the way they overlap). Cant see the need for a chimney Ian.
mickf Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 petron sell them with the motorised fan,i have two from them.
Guest IB Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 The reason double roman tiles are used is because they naturally allow the air to escape (the way they overlap). Cant see the need for a chimney Ian. My loft is a garage, and the tiles cover a felted wooden roof. I put in a ventilated ridge a couple of years back [instead of chimneys, for appearance] but I think I made a hash of the job as I had a clubmate round a couple of times who reckons my ventilation still needs improving. Since then my neighbour has had a new gas? boiler installed in her house and at times the place reeks of fumes , so I'd like to put a chimney and electric fan in.
