fits
Here's some infomation on the Git's family given to me by Dad who had some in the 70's. Hope this helps RegardsDave
yorkie
they are a very old strain and i doubt anyone really has them pure now.Don't assume any old feather legged bird is a gits, a member in the club i flew in 30 years ago used to race gits very successfully and his were not feather legged

lordcornwallis
hi iam trying to breed feathered legged racers as well, i got a hen last year with outstanding feathered legs i bred 6 from her lost one to the hawk and have 5 left ,there feather legged as well but none as good as there mum.i was thinking of breeding one of the young cocks back to her ,but everyone advises only to inbreed to cocks so i dont no, but all the best with your breeding mate lc
Brian Smith
Fits nice to see that book we have a couple of the same book, we have raced to Sam's house since 1980 Sam died in the early 70's and he had very few if any of the Gits left when he died. Shortcut Lofts
I had a pair of reds 2 years ago and let them go to a guy in Scotland. Beauties with feathered legs. Hard to get these now but i know a guy who has a few, mostly Reds. he won a National 3-4 years ago.
