get an old stocking slip bird in to and suspend the bird to top of a box with a cup hook ensure it can get to food and water and back end clear for toilet :) if need be splint leg with a small piece of hosepipe and tape it up :)

had this happen 3 weeks ago tommy just put the bird in a nest box with a drinker and food he will stand on the one leg until he feels able to put weight on the broken leg it will take about 2 weeks of confinement then he will start to use it,my own bird is back up flying but still holds the leg up at times to aid the healing but he's using it a lot more
