Ive just got slabs.. and they get scrapped and brushed out most days aswell..

The ybs's spend most of the day in there.. so i like to get in and inspect the droppings in there each day.. try and be on top of any situations which might arrise..

JMO.. but i hate seeing droppings lying getting all mouldy etc.. even if they are under grills..

best idea i have seen is Grill floors with a 6ft plus drop underneath which get cleaned daily keeping the birds well away from the droppings

Hi Jimmy - how are you mate - what is monobloc mate - is it th grey blocks used in building?

D.D.

im fine dave :) hope things well with you :)

mono block is the brick sized blocks they use for driveways etc, no cement used so theres a slight drainage, course you can slope them so that any water runs out,, i wash with jeyes fluid, then hose out,, i feel it also helps the surrounding areas about the loft,,,, most folks keep their lofts clean , but forget about the outside areas,, really a haven for worms cocci etc,, ,,

im actually saving up for this then after racing also making a apex roof as alot more ventilation and for the floors easier to clean! and also look nice!!

they had been eating some moss/algie that was growing on the slabs all of them

recovered but it was a scare at the time.mind u most of it was our fault not cleaned
