owen101 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 at the show the best built were the blakes others i noticed knocked it up really quick but blakes had a tidy setup and it looked good JMO
owen101 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 noticed with blakes loft that they had 2 diff lofts but one was bigger than the other at £650

aaron21 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 ok mate is a site to look at blakes mate or not
OLDYELLOW Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 i had a look at the lofts and have to say eco lofts had the best quality wood much thicker and no knot holes which had fallen out
Guest joshdonlan Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Usually Blakes arent the best there. They are economy loft, i have a 16 x 6 from them. A bit of water comes in in places which i need to sort and also they nail in weird places, often missing the wood, but they were all i could afford at the time. If i had the money i would of gone elsewhere. I wonder if they put more effort in on the display lofts to attract custom :-/
adam owen Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 blakes dnt have web site but like oldyellow said ecco were really good to
Steve Shaw Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 What were the prices and whos were best? For attention to detail and workmanship the Barnsley Lofts were the best by miles, dont know how much they were but they cant have been cheap with the workmanship involved, some would say you dont need it in a piigeon loft, if you dont then get a Blakes but they werent in the same league IMO
aaron21 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 it was just the prices i,m been guys thats all

Guest mick bowler Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Hope no one mentions Parkhall. I ordered a loft from them years back, the one i had was a disaster, not the same as the show shed i ordered. It should of been assembled but they were running late so left it in the front garden. It was an inch too short at the front and the roof constantly leaked. Also had a blakes, top loft.
demolition man Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 nephew had a bit of water coming in the side of his blakes loft, told him to use car under seal job done ;D ;D ;D
shweet Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 I think Blakes were real value for money. Them £650 lofts would do me with the little aviary run on the front
Guest joshdonlan Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 nephew had a bit of water coming in the side of his blakes loft, told him to use car under seal job done ;D ;D ;D Is this the same as wax oil?
