I see he has gone to Milan. Obviously a good salary. So I really wonder if Liverpool actually paid him of as such. Seems All me eye' to me. A week later and they would have paid - in theory - compensation to Liverpool for his services. It was banded around long enough for all to know where he was likely to be going.

I can't see clever buisness folks - and to be worth £millions you have to be a bit smart and savvy - not doing a deal behind the scences.

So I think personally that they just called it quits, and no money went with Rafa.
