Guest nikkimass35 Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 Hi all after some advice. i moved my birds into my new loft last wednesday. And since them there droppings are green some dark green and watery, Could it be the stress off moving coursing this. The birds were healthy prior to moving and some raced the weekend before i moved taking 2nd club and also getting a fed position from a very hard france race. All birds have been treated for cocci. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks for reading Mass
Guest spin cycle Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 hard to say. but if the birds are 'coming well' and have just had a hard race then i think you're right...its probably a bit of stress. are the birds alright in themselves? mind you if you were doing that well...why change things ?

Thanks for reading Mass there can be a number of issues with green watery droppings.have you changed feed(more peas)or oily seeds or given them some multi vit product.etctry some bi carb in the water to see if the problem changes i would guess without seeing them that the green is dark?if the symptoms persist i would have a droppings test done.

Tony C Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 There's been quite a few reports of this (green watery droppings) going on in the South East. Should any die on you get it of to a good vet and put them on Amoxicillin till you get the results back.
sapper756 Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 I would never advocate for such changes during the season, if your birds were flying well, it would have been better to leave such changes to the end of the season, any way, I hope they pick up for youhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif
