JohnQuinn Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Does anyone know the origins of the poem i know as "the pigeon fancier" The boy sat on the garden seatin most inclement weather. He'd been sitting there for hours and hours but hadn't seen a feather Then a dot appeared in the skyit came down like a rocket. His legs, they turned to jellyas he ran in to clock it. I knew i'd get him in this race for i sent him at his peak. Oh joy Oh bliss Oh blooming heckits one back from last week!! I've known this since around 1976 but for the life of me i don't remember the author, any takers.Prize of a latebred off a doo that took a week out of 104mls this year
