Roland Posted May 19, 2010 Report Posted May 19, 2010 Last month the UN conducted a world survey. The only question asked was: "Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?" The survey was a HUGE failure because of the following: 1. In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.2. In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.3. In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.4. In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.5. In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.6. In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.7. In the USA they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.8. In Australia they hung up as soon as they heard the Indian accent.
Roland Posted May 20, 2010 Author Report Posted May 20, 2010 You know, the reality is that thgere is enough food grown every year to feed at least 20 Billion people . Now as there are only about 6 and a half billion worldwide, then there is enough to feed three times as many Yet is distroyed! Why There is the only answer 'Because' to keep the price up. Just shows how horrid the realism is when G.M foods (Which is already being grown as the samenes of crops show via all identical adin hieght etc. etc. is touted as to feed the hungry and starving eh! Of course it is just another angle to keep costs down and as such make larger margin of profit!
